A bevy of entertainers, media industry insiders and influencers, policymakers, executives and corporate and advocacy organizational allies are slated to attend this exclusive, invitation-only gala.

On Thursday, November 18th, 2021, the Multicultural Media and Correspondents Association hosted its inaugural BIPOC Community Media Development Summit at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C.

This impactful conversation was held at the Annual Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s Legislative Conference. The Annual Legislative Conference (ALC) is CBCF’s leading public policy convening on issues impacting African Americans.

On August 20th, 2021, STARZ Television held a virtual press junket hosted by the Multicultural Media & Correspondents Association (MMCA) during the National Association of Black Journalist (NABJ) Virtual Convention, In advance of the September 26 premiere of the network’s highly-anticipated new series BMF (Black Mafia Family).

On August 19th 2021 the Multicultural Media & Correspondents Association (MMCA) partnered with STARZ Television to host the inaugural Media Diversity Excellence Awards Reception. The virtual event was held during the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) signature annual convention.

On January 11th, 2021, surrounded by family, friends, elected officials, and community leaders Commissioner Jeffrey Mims Jr announced that he would not be running for re-election. With an abundance of public service experience and a vision for the future, Jeff Mims announced that he was instead running for Mayor of Dayton.
